Okay, thanks. I'll do that.
I've created Type C Hulls for the enemy Mantis, Slug, Rock, and Zoltan ships, and anyone can use these for a mod.
Check out the details here.

So I'm using Superliminal v2.1.2b for Linux Mint 64-bit (and yes, I did download the Linux 64 bit version).

Everything was initially working fine ... but now for some reason, I cannot add rooms. I can only move and delete them, but not add in new ones. Any idea what could be wrong?

EDIT: So it seems like I can actually add rooms only if I don't first include any images.

I also am having difficulties with saving ships. I've tried saving my ship as .ftl, and when I load the mod, when I go to its ID in "Load Ship", the entry is empty, and I can't load it. Is there a minimum requirement for saving ships before they'll appear under "Load Ship"?

I am having problems with placing systems in rooms. I right click on the room, the go through the menus(systems, subsystems,special, etc.) but when I click o what system I want to add, it does nothing. I have the right version (Windows 64) and I have tried re downloading but nothing works. How can I troubleshoot this?

I don't know if I missed something, but when I open the editor, it just stays there and won't let me or it do anything except move the cursor and report x and y coordinates. I'm fairly certain I've done something wrong, so any advice would be helpful! :oops: :oops: :oops:

I am completely lost. I downloaded the zip file and unzipped it, but when I try to open the application it just disappears. I think I missed some of the instructions and didn't understand the txt file. I have downloaded everything mentioned in the txt, but haven't done anything with them. Slipstream works, but Superluminal doesn't. It didn't even ask me where the FTL .dat files were. Please help I'm a noob at computer stuff :(

@SonicRainboom345
Before you can do anything, you need to open up a ship for editing. Go to File > New Ship... or File > Load Ship... depending on what you want to do. The second option is probably better for playing around before creating your first ship.

@Some_Random_Noob
Assuming you're on Windows: download this file, and place it in the same folder as superluminal.exe and .jar files, and double click on it. It'll run the editor, but will keep the command window open if the program crashes, allowing you to see what kind of error it's printing out. Copy and paste it here.

It says "Unable to access jar file superluminal2-win.jar". I have the "dist" and "launch4j_admin" XML files in there because that's what I found with search. Are these the right files? I attached a picture of what I have.

Ohh, sounds like you've downloaded the Github repository (the thing that contains uncompiled source code, for programmers), instead of the release build (the package intended for end users).
To avoid further confusion, here are the direct download links: 32-bit | 64-bit
