You have probably updated FTL to the newest version (1.03.3), and Infinite Space isn't compatible with it yet. If you want to play the mod, you'll have to downgrade to 1.03.1 somehow.
You can check your FTL version by looking at the bottom-right corner in the main menu.

Superluminal2 - a ship editor for FTL
Re: Grognak's Mod Manager v1.7 (Updated March 6, 2013!)
Soooo. I poked around in the massive ball of posts that this thing has collected- and still haven't figured this one out.
Despite having installed python three times...
"No supported version of Python found on this system. Download python 2.7.3 at: http://www.python.org/getit/
Press enter to continue."
So. How do I get modman to realise that it -IS- installed on this computer, and it needs to actually do more than sit in a corner and sulk?
And before anyone says "Just use main.py..." I can't. I click it, it flashes real fast, then I get this:
2013-06-07 01:10:17 ERROR: DLL load failed: %1 is not a valid Win32 application.
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "C:\Program Files (x86)\FTL\main.py", line 72, in <module>

I think your resource.dat claims to be larger than it is. And GMM is trying to read something beyond the end of the file, then panics when it can't find anything.LOLZdude12 wrote:I need help, could some do that?

See the post about corruption.
Can't get it to work
I installed the file but when I try to open it it gives me another zip file and when I open that it clones the second file. I may just be missing something obvious but I can't find it and I really want to play with some of the mods, please help

He's not using GMM but WinZip or some such?

Re: Grognak's Mod Manager v1.7 (Updated March 6, 2013!)
I installed version 2.75 of python, and i double clicked on main.py and a command prompt breifly flashed before closing. Then a box popped up that said "Some files extracted from Grognaks mod manager v1.7 win32.zip were modified or new files were created... Do you wish to add them to the archive?" this happens everytime

Do not double-click files inside WinZip/WinRAR/7-Zip/etc.mattu10599 wrote:I installed version 2.75 of python, and i double clicked on main.py and a command prompt breifly flashed before closing. What you see in archiver apps is merely a peek at the zip's contents.
Extract everything to a real folder first. Then run main.py from there.
