Toggle crew attacking subsystems to avoid being lost

Playing the first stage of the final boss I had a really good rockman and mantis get stuck inside the boss with one hull point left and I couldn't stop them from attacking the room they were in (the separate gun rooms), I was about to pull them out too with this in mind but they were stuck when it was cloaked. I don't know if this is intentional or not :( but it ruined my chances of finishing the boss with the federation cruiser.

Otherwise im really enjoying the game with over 40 hours sunk into it and only one victory, with the circle ship decked out with uber drones and ion cannons 8-)

Also the new patch mentions new areas and a new ship for the slug people but it doesn't appear as a question mark in the hangar and I haven't encountered any slug people space :)

I believe it is intentional that you can't issue commands to your crew on a cloaked ship.

Steam will need to update FTL. You'll know its done when the sixth ship is (not) available for selection in the hangar. And, as far as losing a boarding party... well, I've done it a few times and managed to recover at least some games so its not the end of the world. At least... not always :D

yeah it just seems a few little things in terms of controlling stuff, another little issue I have had is the boarding drone can get stuck in rooms without doors and it powers down and you cant destroy it manually to get a new one to board. right now im in a weird stalemate with the boss first stage where I have mantis that can kill his guys but the healing room I cant kill due to only having an s bomb and a glaive beam, however I have no missiles :(

I dislike endless stalemates
