I have come upon a store, and have enough scrap to buy another flak (i already have one equipped). So, should I use another flak cannon?

Flak is great. There are a lot of factors to consider in this game but in most cases I'd sell the Artemis for one without much thought.

Just note that they fire faster than the BL2 so you want to hold off on it, then shoot it right before the BL2 is ready. Once it hits and takes down the shields, fire away with the lasers for maximum accurate damage.

Use a flak 2 on anything.

Use Flak II... unless you have a Flak 1. 3 projectiles every 10 seconds? Can be synced with a Burst Laser II much better? Yes please.
