The future of FTL
I love FTL it has taken over all of my free time, and I have just about done everything possible in the game. Will there be more content in the future? I know the idea of a multiplayer isn't likely but could there be a possible version with it? Other modes of the game(I.E survive in one huge sector with enemies getting tougher with time ? Idk. I love FTL and would love to see more of it whether it be more content or a sequel to buy.

Re: The future of FTL
First off, it's very doubtful that we'll get another version of the current FTL. The game is complete and the devs have no (announced) plans to extend it further. I wouldn't be surprised if we get the occasional bugfix release here and there but for all intents and purposes, what you have right now is all you're ever going to get.
Secondly, FTL2 is not currently (as far as anybody but the devs know) being planned, so I wouldn't hang my hat on that hope, either.
Finally: These 2 statements were both true right before FTL:AE was announced, so there's always hope

Hey atary, have you tried CE? It expands the game quite a bit, and the Eccentric Culturnik seems to be adding new stuff quite regularly.
It's something I'm looking forward to once I'm "done" with AE (which could be a while, since I haven't even started on Hard).

I've looked at a lot of mods on youtube, and they look awesome. Unfortunately I only have it for ipad,my computer is terrible. It can't play anything. But thank you guys for the feedback.

If your computer is less than about 8 years old, then you've got a very good chance that FTL will run fine on it. If your computer is older, you can get a 7 year old computer or younger for less money than the screen polisher for your iPad costs

Yeah I play FTL on my Windows 8.1 tablet with integrated graphics and it runs fine for such a weak computer. It's a shame there's not more FTL like games out there. I've been looking but there's pretty much nothing out there like our dear FTL.
Mods do extend the life quite a bit though. Captain's Edition should be checked out by everyone.
