Anti-Bio Beam and Zoltan Shield.

So I was wondering if the bio beam actually break down the Zoltan Shield.

I am wondering because I am running the crystal ship and some how ended up with 3 extra rockmen. So I'm full boarding with no weapons. So just would like to know if that beam actually hurts it.

It says it does 0 hull/system damage but 4 personnel damage.

haven't tried, but ion weapons do damage it, so i would guess it does.
