[SHIP]The Asgard Warships

Post by stargateprovider »

The Asgard ships Bilskirnir and O'Neill from Stargate SG-1.
Equipped with Ion Guns and Asgard Beams (last one made by FrostWyrmWraith). Both ships have one crew member and may be very overpowered :D

Just a minor nitpick: It's Beliskner, not Bilskirnir.

It's the Bilskirnir-class, though the individual ship was called the Biliskner and often it's called Beliskner, so I'm not sure which name is actually the correct one.

Minor nitpick: Its name could only be properly rendered in Futhark, so Anglicized spellings may differ. :P

The second link leads to a blank page.

Edit: Okay, something's wrong there...

Re-edit: I cannot access the Beliskner page properly through any means.

However, the Beliskner-class entry does not provide a source for the name "Bilskirnir".

Here's what it looks like in the Futhark of Old Norse:

Hopefully this helps to illustrate why your "minor nitpick" is a non-issue. You're trying to insist on the "proper" spelling of something that's named in a non-Roman alphabet. You may notice a few of the implied vowels are missing in its proper spelling, as they are not necessary for its correct pronunciation. ;)

Could you please use dropbox, mediafire, or sourceforge?
