I finally defeated the end boss on medium, then i got the credits, so no end game?

what exactly do you mean by end game? Isn't the end boss the end game?

Did you get all the achievements? Have you unlocked all the ships? All the layouts? Have you won on medium with all the layouts? Have you used all the weapons and augmentations? There's your endgame.

Besides, the modding potential of this game is limitless. Patience.

Though that is not in at the minute a nice addition for the future may just be a thing saying now that you have beaten the boss see how far you can get and just jump through more randomly generated systems to see how far you can get with the enemies getting tougher each time.
