Bought the game on GOG and patches/updates made me think.

Since Steam is pretty much auto-update/patch if this game would have any in the future. Though GOG doesn't make it stuck in Steam which is nice itself and the sample soundtrack and so on. But I still just can't help but wonder if there will be any patches, will I be able to get them even when I bought it from GOG?

It is just my mind that is having a wheel twirling about the question: What if there would be a patch? ^^

Of course you'll get the patches from GoG. Just that it won't hold your hand and get them for you.

The GOG.com downloader does check for updates. I'm not sure if it only checks them when the downloader is started or not though. So you might want to periodically boot up the downloader and see if there are any patches.
