10/10 This isn't just a fanboy's opinion this game rivals the amount of fun iv'e had playing star wars battlefront 2 back on ps2. Iv'e had more fun playing this game than boring old Black ops 2. I don't think it's even fair trying to compare this amazing game to Bo2. that's just my opinion but I hope some people can relate to me. The idea for this game was fresh and new, most other games on the other hand play it safe and make another shooter clone. The person or people who made this game had a great idea that payed of in the end. This game is an excellent example for gaming companies, all they have to do is make something new. That's why this game is so appealing and fun to people.

Hear hear. FTL is almost better than Vampire TM Bloodlines. It's that good. I'd say 11/10 but that would invite Spinal Tap jokes, so i wont.

FTL just does everything right. SOTS The Pit is harder (good) but should not try to mix oldschool and new visuals. It doesnt work for some reason. Also, you can actually beat FTL. KSP is very engrossing but much more complex. FTL otoh has a nicer mix of formulaic and random. Most triple-A titles fail to connect and make it a personal experience for the game. Other indie games usually arent compareable. Weird Worlds is nice. A less intense or tactical but faster version of what FTL does.

The only things wrong with FTL are that sometimes people expect too much of it (it works well because it is simple). And it doesnt track each session history so that i can relive my glorious failures. Come on Civ1 could do it... in 1991... even Alien Crossfire had something like it. It seems your name must be Sid Meier for your game to have a simple but cool feature like history.
