2 Things I need to say.

#2: I'm royally ticked off at this game right now. I still like it, but what the bloody hell is going on with that 2nd boss fight? They cheat!

I was barely scraping by (had terrible luck with weapon pick-ups) and managed to land a breach missile in the med bay. As the enemy crew was dropping like flies due to my Rockmen (yay for fire immunity), I targeted the drone system.

Silly old me thought that if I disabled that, I'd stop getting torn apart by the enormous swarm of drones. It was fully red, and the room was on fire, but I kept getting shot at.

I need to take an extended break from this game and play something a little less frustrating for a bit. Maybe a nice round of DOTA 2.

The extra drones aren't affected by the drone bay, otherwise the boss would be way too easy.

Though if you're not ready for that, it can be way too hard

Keep plugging away, you'll get it eventually, but take lots of breaks because the game is pretty rough until you've got the hang of it.

Indeed. It may take dozens of tries to beat the game, even on easy, but your first victory will be a big accomplishment Second stage of the boss is the hardest of them, but with a solid ship and good strategy it will be... well, not easy, but not as impossible as you might first think.

And because of the random nature of the game, some runs are indeed impossible (stealth B + asteroids as only option + beam drone, lol), but getting a good start (first 2-3 sectors) is almost half a victory already
