Great! A Rock ship as our flagship, and a small rebel ship along with a shiny Stealth cruiser to boot! (the stealth cruiser is totally mine, btw, it goes well with the art of my Engi/Lanius character )

Could we customize our ships so that they have systems and weapons, or will you decide what they have? I can take out some other hulls for people to look at, if they want their own ship.

Sorry! I made an error! What I meant to say was use the STEALTH ship as our flagship, and the other two in our fleet. I think the stealth one looks the best for this type of thing. It's the most "ravaged" looking.

We could use the bulky, heavily armored Rock ship as storage/cargo haul. We could use the Rebel ship for short-range combat.
Does that make more sense?

One question: If Creeybo is a hologram, is his emitter mobile? If his emitter is linked to the ships systems, he won't be able to leave the ship.

I hadn't thought about that, but I reckon the emitter must be mobile, otherwise how did Creeybo change ships in the first place, or go into hiding? Also, the emitted hologram is more than just an image -- when it's interfered with something like a weapon blast, or fire, Creeybo is hurt. Lack of oxygen isn't a problem though, and at times Creeybo enjoys the emptiness too, which can only be comfortably shared with the Lanius, an intriguing species.

That's very interesting! Some of the crew may have trouble grasping that concept - since the humans, Rockmen, Mantis, etc. all have two genders. Cool!

We will probably start the role-play tomorrow, or Monday. If you haven't already, submit a character!

Some things we must decide:
1. Our ship:

Our flagship (The awesome looking stealth ship)
A cargo ship (the Rock ship)
A fighter (the Rebel ship)

(I assigned the Rock ship for cargo since I imagine it as larger than the others)

Sounds good?

2. Captains:
We need a Captain for each ship.
WE NEED A REBEL (HUMAN) CAPTAIN, (For the Rebel fighter ship) A ROCK (ROCKMEN) CAPTAIN, (For the Rock cargo ship) AND A FEDERATION OR DRIFTER CAPTAIN (For the flagship) (My character, "Error," is mentally unstable and should not be a captain. He will be an engineer/computer programmer)

All captains are EQUAL in rank. The Flagship captain is no higher up than the Rebel captain, or the Rock captain. Also, the Rebel Captain should be human because rebel ships tend to be mostly human.

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CHANGE YOUR EXISTING CHARACTER TO BE A CAPTAIN OF ONE OF THE THREE SHIPS. IF YOU DON'T HAVE A CHARACTER YET, FEEL FREE TO CREATE ONE TO BE A CAPTAIN OF ONE OF THESE THREE SHIPS. TIME IS RUNNING OUT TO SUBMIT/EDIT CHARACTERS!!!

3. Ship Placement:
All of the crew in our fleet will frequently move between the three ships when needed, using the Teleporter (All ships in our fleet have one) or Docking.
However, you may want to decide where your crewmen spends most of his/her time. This will really just be felt-out as the role play starts, it is not really matter that much. Just something to thing about.

So that means there's no Crystal A joining the fleet?

In that case, maybe since the Unknown Galactic Invader Dudes have destroyed or damaged Ruwen's ship and he joins the fleet because well... he doesn't have a ship any more.
That would mean logically being an ancestor of the Rocks, he'd be the Captain of the Rock ship. His experience as a Courier does mean he knows how to handle cargo. After all, some messages are gifts of tribute.

So yeah, Ruwen Shattersphere as the Crystal Captain of the Rock Ship.
