Heyya guys, is it waaay too late/inconvenient to request stuff here? I'd really love to see a 'findWithoutChildLike' tag, or possibly wildcards or notTrue tags in the selector.

I realise not many people will use them so please don't worry if it's too much work.

Well, I'm not the author of SMM -- Vhati is -- but you can certainly suggest such a feature to him. findWithoutChildLike should be pretty simple to do, but negation in selector might be trickier.

Guys, I have a problem. Basically, I tried using slipstream, and did ALL the necessary steps in order to use it, but even though I'm running it as an admin, it still says that access is denied. Can someone help me please?

Make sure that the two .dat archives in FTL's installation are not set to read-only.

Most likely cause, just to get it out of the way: make sure you have Java installed.

If it's not that, then go to SMM's folder, and look for a file named modman-log; open it and copy its contents here between [ code ][ /code ] tags.

If you can't find that file, and you're on Windows: download this script, place it in SMM's folder, and double-click on it. It'll run SMM, but also prevent the console from closing immediately, so that you can copy its content / take a screenshot of it. Post it here.

I'm sure this question has already been answered but you could forgive me for not wanting to comb though the 50+ pages to find it. I'm new to moding FTL and trying to install Infinite Space but the file's aren't in the correct format. I know I have to change something into a .ftl file but I'm not sure what. the file folders I downloaded? the Individual file's in inside?

Just what exactly are you downloading? Kind of hard to say without knowing, but there should be something mentioned in the thread if you need to unpack first.

If you do unpack and get folders like img and data, then you shouldn't have unpacked and just used the file you downloaded. If the extension is zip and not ftl, you can rename (change the extension) or allow zips in slipstream preferences.
