Skipping junk files and clobbering earlier mods is normal. I can't reproduce the problem so I have to assume the current version works. I recommend trying without EL for starters. If EL causes the problem then there are some workarounds mentioned in the troubleshooting section.

On a first glance I see nothing wrong with this, but I never tried making weapons with that many charges. You might have more luck inquiring about this in the questions thread in mod development. The CE thread isn't a modding help thread.

Hello i just got this mod and its my first time modding i would like to know why there is missing text/textures even though i installed it correctly i have some screenshots of it in these links.

It looks like a problem with your fonts. The letter M seems to be missing.

I don't know anything about that. :(

I have a Problem with my ship artillery.
If I buy artillery in shop or start with artillery Crash fix for having it at start, I get the wrong artillery with some ships.
For example with mantis cruiser b there should be the Sha'k Internal Teleporter, but instead I got Kaz'trt Light Burst Artillery .

ok, i found a way at my own. i Chance the artillery in the artillery Crash fix

Odd. Could it be that you are using an outdated version of either CE or EL? Because that artillery was changed some time ago... If you are using EL 1.28 I can look into this.

Out of curiosity, were there any plans to incorporate more trading elements into Captain's Edition?

Nope, no plans. I feel like everything that is possible in that regard has been pretty much done. More trade goods could still be added, but I think the mod is already well saturated with goods. Also modifying the trade system in general is pretty complicated and prone to error, so I try to not touch it.

First things first: Thank you for making this mod.

Finally got around to be able to run this mod. It's rather heavy on system recourses, had to resort to Lubuntu for the mod. The mod runs fine on my computer but during playtime there is one drone that messes up my screen by creating a white box and producing an earshattering static noise. I'm able to deduce from terminal output that this is most likely drone DE_DRONE_BEAM_2_ENEMY as it told me that the blueprint was incorrect. Any ideas/ways to fix this?
