I think that should be fixed now...

CE Resource Pack 1.28
- Fixed a couple wrong image dimensions
- Added type C pirate hulls for Rebel and Federation ships, made by R4V3-0N
- Added type A vintage Rebel hulls, made by R4V3-0N

CE Update 1.28
- Integrated R4V3-0N new hulls
- Fixed a potential problem that causes the hull repair kit to not work as intended
- Pulled some more spell checking from github

Still doesn't give you the supplies even though the text reads that you have traded them.
Bit of an odd event though... I'd say maybe change the writing to make it clear the ship only lured you in or something with an offer like that?
Seems to make more sense than a pirate ship making a deal with you and attack after the goods have been traded.
Amateur modder and Let's player (with a substantial FTL and ItB LP featuring countless mods).

I found a glitch where a rebel pusher layout didn't appear to be completely within the apparent boundaries of the ship. Also, the weapon wasn't in the right location and the destruction animation appeared to have a rebel fighter behind the rebel pusher. The event text was: "You spot a small rebel ship nearby. It seems to have been re-fitted for transport rather than combat. It does not seem to want to engage you and your ship.

I was using the mods in this order:
CE Resource Pack 1.28
FTL Captains Edition 1.28
CE Infinite Addon 1.267

Help I can't get this to work at all, and I'm sure the mods im using are in the right order....

Better Planets and Backgrounds
CE Resource Pack
FTL Captains edition
CE BPaB compatibility
CE Infinite
EL Texture
CE Endless loot for infinite
CE Non-EL enemy loadouts

The loading screen is a little ship filling up, and when finished some glitched sprites flash across and it crashes. Unless I'm doing something wrong?? I arranged the mods in the order I should in slipstream (the order above) have them all checked and just click patch.

Also, being new to FTL, I am using Advanced Edition, is this only for original, I really don't know the difference

I'm guessing it's Endless Loot that's causing problems. Either you don't have enough files for it or you're playing Endless Loot in general and the game isn't getting the proper memory for it.

Either way, remove Endless Loot and see if the problem is fixed.

hey thanks, that did it. Not enough memory, I guess? It's an older laptop with 2gb of ram but I didn't think that would be an issue.

by the way, are you at all familiar with descent into darkness mod?? the description sounds really cool with a bunch of different ships, crew, etc to choose right at the start. I'm surprised it doesn't look like there's something similar with CE Infinite, considering the purpose is to have more of an endless sandbox game.

It's a software issue, not hardware. The game should be able to use all the memory it needs to but it doesn't. You could download a whole bunch of 3rd party programs to get it working but that'd be like using a nuclear reactor to power a toaster. Too much of a hassle when you can simply make a sandwich instead with the other ingredients.

alright cool sounds good, I'll just do without the last 3 mods in the list then, they are all part of endless loot.

im just going to stick with CE infinite and see if that takes it away from the roguelike mechanics enough for me, seems by far the best mod you can get for the game.
