I have been working overtime to get this thing done. This ship is the third installation in my series of Red Alert 2 ships, and it’s definitely the most powerful of the bunch. Yuri was always pretty overpowered after all.
Enemy crews do not stand a chance against the weapons carried by this ship. With high breach and fire chances, relatively low charge times and a lust for power, Yuri’s gonna get all the soylent green he could ever want.

I finally decided to shuffle the rooms around a bit for this ship, and I can tell you it’s certainly not to most spacious thin around. The art still isn’t must to brag about but I think I replicated Yuri’s brown and purple color scheme pretty well with the hull image (I would have liked to put Yuri's logo somewhere, but there's not really a good place on this image). Not to mention the psychic amplifier (which I made from scratch) turned out pretty well. Also, converting a 60 frame .shp animation into something FTL can use is no small task. It’s actually one of the most tedious things I have ever experienced. The dominator is a combination of a recolored chronosphere and recolored and merged ion explosion animations (which also turned out pretty well).
Anything associated with Yuri’s Revenge (i.e. the dominator, the magnetron, the psi amp. And of course Yuri himself) are property of EA. Credit to the superluminal ship editor, the original FTL resources and NarnKar for helping out with some of the early bugs.

I'm guessing the GDI ship will have an Ion Cannon for the Artillery. Does ion damage and heavy damage to enemy hulls...
Actually you could always use the Kodiak since that's actually a spaceship and probably just about the same size as the Kestrel.
As for Nod... umm the Monktauk got engines? You can't forget the Cluster Missile. And one of those BS artillery guns from the TS Artillery. The terrain-deforming, always hitting the target one. Not the nerfed version in skirmishes. And the Artillery? Definitely the Obelisk of Light, with the distinctive hum and firing sound.
Scrin should be the Mothership or the Carrier (with one weapon slot (Ion Storm) and six Stormwalker Drones and a recovery arm)

I think your on the nose with the artillery, I'm probably gonna wind up putting artillery in every ship I make now because it's just super cool. All the files from C&C 95 are really easy to get to, I could pull the sounds (and animation in the case of the ion cannon) out without any trouble at all. GDI has to have to Kodiak now, but I'll have to find someone better at making hull images that I am and who is also willing to make it.

Your forgetting the Forgotten (no pun intended)! They're probably going to take priority over the Scrin actually, not sure what I'll do for them though...

The Forgotten seemed to want attention when they were around, getting to outer space is a good way to do that. They tended to use tech from other factions, so probably throwing some gibs together for the hull and whatever weapons I come up with for the other ships would be enough to call it good.

I'll be honest - I had initially dismissed your ships as simple recolours. But something compelled me to download this mod, and what I found was an amazingly well-put together ship, with unique weapons and an enjoyable style of play. I'm not the biggest C&C fan, so I really don't know what's going on - but your talent and your dedication to creating a quality mod is obvious. I look forward to your next work.

There's so many mods out there that have been done hundreds of times before, I'm glad someone thinks this isn't one of them. I wish I could do more than just recolor the hull, but a can never seem to get anything made from scratch to look right.

You could always splice different images together. Most of my ship mods are made of recoloured pieces of other ships. It also makes gibs a little easier to create as the pieces are already there.
