Is it possible to "buy" shields?

Hay all :-)

Firstly, this game fukin r0x!!!! im STILL! playing it! :-D using the Captains Edition mod which is excellent -)

Ive just unlocked The Nesasio :-D but it has no shields so im curious, is there a way for me to buy shields for it in game as ive never been in this situation before i don't know the answer hehe :-)

ah nvm, literally the next store i jumped to was selling them heheh :-D 125 though!

Yeah sell that crappy Titanium System Casing, but don't show up at any store with a stealth ship until you are sure you can spend the 125 scrap.
