I've written up the start of a 'techincal' guide to FTL available here: http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/FTL:_Faster_Than_Light - if anyone would like to contribute, you can do so without registering for an account.

The game is technically excellent and stable, and I didn't experience any bugs in my first playthrough. However, there are two big improvements which could be added:

• Borderless fullscreen windowed
  Save game cloud syncing

Now both of this features can be 'hacked' in but it's not really ideal. I hope that if the developers have time, they can add these in natively!
