Battle Mode

I would like a battle mode so I can fight lanius and slug ships at my convience
The adventure part of the game gets very boring. I feel like the closest analogy I can make to myself is that if this was smash brothers I'd be stuck in the crappy campaign when I want vs mode. I've played the ftl campaign hundreds of times and it is too boring to even bother playing now

FTL isn't being actively developed anymore so you know what you have to do then: Mod in a battle mode. If you don't want to bother with that you can also simply check the modding forum for more contend.
