Need tips for achievement

I am trying to unlock the second layout of the Rock Cruiser, and I'm having trouble with the "Is it warm in here?" achievement. I've managed to get both a Fire Bomb and the Crew Teleporter, so I think the bare conditions for getting it are met, but I can't seem to get enemy crew to confront my crew in the fire. It doesn't seem to be enough to have an enemy crew pass by the room with the fire and rockman, because I've killed two people running to other rooms inside of the flaming room and haven't gotten the achievement. Short of setting the entire ship on fire, I'm not sure how to do it.
