Is there a mod which removes fire?

I find fires incredibly fun ruining. Like, I played the game for a few hours then uninstalled it because having a fire is just a not-fun level of "challenge". I find the game unplayable this way, so is there a mod which just removes fires from being an issue?

Fire is really not that big of a deal... If stuff catches fire, just open the airlocks and shut the O2 down, that will take care of it.

Alternatively, crew your ship with Rockmen. They don't take fire damage and can put out fires more easily because of it. They're no faster at removing fires than other races, and you'll still take system damage if you're unlucky, but you don't need to hurt your crew or empty out your O2 reserves to get rid of a few flames.

I'm 100% aware of all methods of dealing with fire. I still hate it. Thanks for the advice, but I did look up all this stuff before deciding to resort to asking if there's a mod to remove it.

You could mod all weapons to not have a chance to start fire. But no, no mod has done that.

Fire is annoying, yes, but it is an important part of the game. I suggest you play with some of the fire weapons yourself, it can be quite fun.

Honestly I loved the game but fires are just a massive frustration and I can't bear to play it because of that. If you could give me some *really* computer-illiterate advice on how to remove fire chance from weapons I'd be really grateful.
