Regarding Room Squares' Gamma...
When I asked Matthew why it's always -1, he said it's a bug in the game.
It was supposed to be extinguishment progress if he remembered correctly, or ticks spent extinguishing or something. A number that indirectly decides which frame of the shrinking animation to display.


In other news, "extinguishment" is a word.

Having a bit of a problem. When i try to load any of the save game file, the only tab that it allows me to access is the Dump tab. Im not sure what kind of data to provide to give help so please just ask and i will provide. Thanks in advance.

what it needs is something like this right above the download link, then nobody should make that mistake again

I believe "Xi" is "number of lives/times cloned."

similarly, i think Mu is "lifespan measured in beacons," with 1 additional if you started with that crewmember.

So I hate to be "that guy", but I think people might need some reassuring for the future. Are saves going to be able to be edited soon?

De-Greeking Progress
  • Systems: Everything.
  • Volatile System Vars: Everything, except for cloaking, and Lambda/Mu of the shields group aka Aergia.
  • Supplies: Beta is "Jump Ticks", which counts toward 85000 as the FTL Drive charges.
As for the mystery bytes, I can sort out some of the middle portion by hand (literally shifting hex around in notepad). But the parser still needs to successfully interpret all the bytes along the way first.
