Yes, the usual Omicron event, where u "repair" the reactor is supossed to appear 4 or 5 times, the traveler event almost 3 or 4, the omicron event where you fight 2 variants of an omicron ship appear 1-2 times, and the defense plattform event appears 3 or 4 times. Usually, those are "fake" numbers as i call it, since in the end sometimes u will get more events than that. The problem is if i lower the number, the mod became almost impossible :p (those events are specific to help you advance through all the sectors).

ok i get it with the reactor reapair and the defence platform events but it seam's to me that the event where you can get the blue energy source is a little bit too common since you get say like the OSCR (think its called) that fires 12 shots in sec 1 almost nothing stands a chance if you power it (at least it feel's that way too me)
Also i really like the mod

Yes. The Plasma rail cannon needs to be nerfed a bit, instead of 12 bullets, it should fire "only" 10 and a cooldown of 30 s. Unfortunately i noticed that before i posted the last update..
About the events where u can get the Blue Energy Source, u only will find 2 of them (this means 2 chances of fighting the omicron ships to get the blue energy source and stuff on every sector). I mean the max quantity of those events is set to "2", there is no way that u will find more than 2 times those events..
OK. So, since i see there are some things that i need to change i will make a little update in the next few days.. until then it will be good if u guys can put here all the things u want me to change or balance a bit. Since i dunno when a next update will be..
The problem is, omicron event where u find the blue energy source can be really easier depending on wat weapons / ship are u using, or really hard / almost impossible if u use, for example, the science ships (still, i manage to kill them after i run away and i visited all the beacons lol, then i could get another fire laser (yes, im so lucky.. another fire laser xD) and with that, i could go back and fight the omicron ship. I only had the fire breath (useless while the omicron enemy had the defense mark ii) , 2 fire lasers and the voulge drone , but i managed to distract the defenses of the omicron enemy until i could reach the drone bay and disable it, and after that, things became easier (of course i had the defense mark II active). But it cost me about 4 attempts on run away - repair - go back xD.

Well i think you should limit the Omicron renegade event to just 1 per sector since as it is right now you CAN get really op stuff really early. as for other changes if the sience ship's are very hard you might want to buff them a bit. also increasing some weapons cooldowns might be good as well and mabye increasing the cost to upgrade the artillery beam? (seam's a bit to strong with 20 sec cooldown for a shield piercing 3 dmg beam :S) Also sorry for some of my bad spelling XD.
also a question is this compatibale with infinate space?

Instead of decreasing to 1 the omicron renegade events, i will raise the difficulty of the enemies, to make the special stuff really hard to adquire. Be aware , in the beginning sometimes u will not even be lucky to get to fight the renegade, so if i only allow 1 chance, i think that will be a very narrow margin. But maybe in later sectors i will reduce the quantity to 1.
I already raised the cooldown of all the special weapons, i was considering as well to raise power consumption to 5, but i just wanted to keep the ui as it is. I think all the weapons has almost fine cooldown, but if u can tell me wat weapons u consider should have less cooldown, i will look into it.
Hehe, the artillery beam is already fixed in that sense, after the updare i already raised the cost of upgrading the artillery beam, as well as the general cost of buying it.
I dunno if this is compatible with infinite space, didnt try but maybe not, since the first problem is infinite space already use start game and start beacon code in the events.append.xml file, besides infinite space touches the sector.xml file as well, so i dont think it will compatible at all. Infinite space ads more enemies+fleet delay mod+increased difficulty

Just took both sience ships for a spin died in sector 3 with both of em :/ ye they really need a drone or another fire laser or something XD seriusly hard. mabye reduce the power needed to power the fire breath by one but increase the cooldown to compensate?? i am not shure balance and imbalance arnt my strong points
. Most of the other ships seam to do just fine.

Nah, science ships are fine as they are, be aware they are really hard ships, thats the feature of science ships, but i reached sector 6 with both types, u just need to work harder on them (as it was intended). Engines are your best friend, the firebreath launcher is great once u have 4 weapon power bars and u can use it. But its probably using science ships that u will replace the fire laser later on the game, or trust me u can reach sector 6 with 2 fire lasers and engines level 5+ xD. 1 fire laser alone is a little dummy sometimes, but 2 of em, u can make a hell in the enemy ship..
I mean, as i intended some ships are harder than others, i never wanted all the ships to have the same difficulty, since they are different classes, science ships are hard most of the times, but as i said that was wat i intended. I reached sector 6 with both types and i only died cuz i lost the 2 engi crew members i had, and i coudnt repair in time vital systems (in this case, the pilot to go away) to run away from the battle. The second time was in an asteroid field LOL. 2 burst lasers II + 1 bomb on the enemy ship + 1 asteroid field was too much even if i had the defense mark IV installed. The only problem was, again that i failed to protect / repair the engines so in the end, i coudnt even run away. This time, i only had 2 shield power bars xD, and engines level 7 didnt work as well since, misteriously the enemy ship was aiming to the engines all the time..
Anyways, for the next update i did some changes, now u will only find the renegade event 1 time per sector, and i raised a bit the difficulty of the omicron renegade enemies (just raised 1 reactor power and in some blueprints raised the weapons power available).

Updated the link on the first post with fixes here and there (commented in previous posts). I also did a little work on the railplasma railcannon, in the firing sprite.
I noticed, still sometimes the game turns too easy when u already have the blue energy source xD, im trying to raise the difficulty of the omicron enemies but its really annoying without making them completely op.. but i will keep working on it.

the mod is great and fun, but literally im not going far at all, when i pick a class they have no energy bar and some of the weapons energy is high and impossible to get because they cost alot. in the beginning of the game i keep dieing by those enemy, especially the 1 that has a ship and the 2 option run away or act like a brave person, i pick run away but i always get caught, WTH, wat am i suppose to do i only have 1 weapon and a crappy shield that does nothing. tell me how to go through this 
also that engine thing is a load of BS, no offence but really it happens to me all the time and it kills me omg >:(
