Hi guys,
Just got the game and can't figure out how to activate more than one drone at a time. When I try to power up the second drone I get the message "not enough power"(?), or something.
What am I missing?
Thanks for any help!

Drone system needs upgrades, too. You will get the same message if you try to power up a weapon without having enough upgrades in the weapon system.

To the left of where your drones are, there are a couple little green rectangles, and maybe an empty rectangle above them. Activate and deactivate one of your drones and you will notice that these rectangles turn on and off. These represent the total amount of power you are allowed to put into drones. You don't have enough total drone power to power both drones.
To increase that power, go into "ship" (top of the screen, next to "jump") and click the done box. Every time you click, you'll add one more to the available power for drones. Don't click more than you need, it gets expensive. You need to pay scrap to do this so you can't do it unless you have the available scrap.
You may also need to buy the actual power to put in those slots, that's the big grid in the bottom of that "ship" screen. Every click gives you one more permanent available power bar to put anywhere you want. Again, only buy what you need, it gets expensive.
As you progress through the game you'll get more and more scrap so you can upgrade lots of things, and buy lots more in stores. Figuring out what to upgrade is one of the joys (and frustrations) of the game.

Even getting stranded isn't the end of a run. If you're far enough ahead of the Rebel Fleet, you can simply wait for someone to drop by, and they will either A) give you fuel, because nice guys still exist in this space-pirate-infested universe or B) someone will attack you, at which point you can kill him and take his fuel.Skyjack wrote:Thanks for the quick replies!
