FTL: Add a surrender option!

I think in FTL they should add a surrender option, I was getting overrun by a elite fighter with no fuel, And if i was able to surrender i think it would be awesome, But it should have bad negatives, Like you loose half of your scrap, missles, drones or even some of your crew and weaponary!, I hope you take this into idea :D
