Are we getting it? I know VALVe is making a Steam version for Linux, so is there any chance we'll see FTL make the jump as well? Obviously we wouldn't expect this at launch, as the devs need to focus on the largest market segment, but it would be a nice gesture.

Well, we promised a build for Linux at launch so we're going to stick to that if humanly possible. I doubt Steam's Linux version will be functioning by then so it'll probably just be standalone. We're going to flesh out our Linux plan closer to release.

With windows 8 being sooooo bad, I think more and more people are gonna try out linux as an alternative.
