OK, what you should do, is create a custom sector type, and make the augmentations only buyable in that sector. Then don't make the sector appear in game. This way, they will have non-zero rarity, but won't show up in shops. If you are wondering how to do this, go through the files to look at crystal sector / crystal weapons. This is exactly how they work.
All ships I have created include custom weapons, graphics etc:

The problem is, not only the crashes occured in shops, they also happened in events, anyways thx DryEagle for the tip, but i decided that augments will be available in shops, but u will need a lot of money to buy em. This way, the augments are still almost unique for every ship, since it will not be so easy to buy em in a shop. Also im wondering if rarity > 1 is useful in augmentations, cuz it looks like it doesnt matter if i write rarity 1 or 5, the same augmentations keep appearing in the shops.

Anyways, i can say that i solved the crash issues (fingers crossed, but no crashes in 3 games for more than 3 hours of play, in normal circunstances i barely could pass sector 1 without a crash) . Now i hope i can finish the last update soon, once i complete all the gibs (will be rude gibs, since i dont have any idea on how they work) and the Hirogen that is the last side left.

Well, if you know what events are crashing that should make it a lot easier to troubleshoot what's going on... which one was it? I'll take a look

I dont know exactly wat events were crashing, but i could guess that the ones that have a chance to give u any augmentation. The problem is, the events gives rewards based on level, not on type (as far as i know), so it doesnt matter since the same event tht could give u an augmentation, could give u a weapon as well so...

For an event to give an augment it has to specifically have augment listed as one of the rewards. It can be either a random aug or you can name a specific one. But you can't just say "give loot" and one time it will give weapon and another time aug, doesn't work that way.

Updated the link on the first page!. This is the FINAL update, u guys can give feedback and i will note it for future possible updates (but i sadly dont think i will mod again). Im hope u enjoy it, i really did creating it (even if only some of you showed a little interest).

Lol. Aw.. just noticed 2 annoying errors that i never imagined. First one, the miniship of the type-b ships is missing, so when u go to the stats option, if u click on the type-b ship u will see a black square...

Second, i forgot to include shield grahpics for the ships that dont use shields (Borg), and u cant use defense drones in borg ships cuz of that.. :lol: if u try it, the defense drone will just do nothing..

So, i suposse i will update the link on the first post as soon as i can. Sorry guys for these mistakes lol.
