Will the devs make more levels?

Ok so the fight vs the rebels is all good, love the game. But will the devs make more expansions on FTL or are they moving on?

This game has so much potential. Why not a new 8 sector mission unlocked on completing the game or unlocking alternate story lines with new sectors etc?

Anyway just wondering if this game is finnished and done or if we will see more FTL expansions or missions in the future.

I've wondered that, too. News is fairly quiet (and it seems fans are more than happy to build their own content, which is great), but I'm curious as to whether are currently working on any expansions for the current game.
