P.S. Sorry if the images don't fit in the window. Couldn't figure out the BBCODE to shrink them. :?

The images are chopped to maintain forum width. To view the whole image, simply click on it. Your bbcodes are fine. :D

Also, lucky you. When that happens usually the player loses despite clobbering the flagship.

I've never won with the Engi-B. That's just crazy. ;)

That was my first time playing the Engi-B. It looked crazy, starting with only one crew. In case it wasn't obvious, this was on easy.
I'm actually surprised I won. I had a fully leveled mantis boarding party up until the system right before the exit in sector 7. I was a second away from killing the last two crew members when the ship jumped away with my boarding party still on board! What's really sad is that I was already fully upgraded. Full energy, max shields, max oxygen, etc. I don't know why I didn't just go straight for the exit... And then I lost my boarding party, like a dumbass.

And as far as this counting as a win, he definitely died first. He got one last shot off right as mine hit. It was that burst of lasers, which move pretty slow...

Considering your goal is to stop the rebel ship from reaching the home base, shouldn't it always be a win if that ship dies?? I mean, we accomplished the goal, didn't we?

Going MAD? (Mutually Assured Destruction)

Yeah well in military standards the objective was to destroy the rebel flagship and that was the primary mission and you did just that. Survival, well that was a secondary objective. Either way the whole game was a suicide mission. Get a small obsolete lightly armed civilian shuttle across several hostel sectors of space. Jury rig a bunch of salvaged weapons and system component's in attempt to be a match for a much more potent state of the art enemy warship.
Warp Drive or Hyperspace?
