Somehow, I finally beat the game...

I couldn't believe how fortunate I was to get a teleporter at the beginning of sector two, but no extra crew. Shortly after in sector three I lost two of my crew members trying to board leaving only my captain but got lucky and received another Burst Laser 2 as a reward. I went through sector four (a nebula) with only my captain after I had a Mantis killed trying to board the jump after I received him. I ALSO RAN OUT OF GAS TWICE!

At the beginning of sector five I got an Engi to join my crew. Then I bought Breach Bomb 2 and figured "Why stop making bad decisions now?" and was boarding with my Engi and human captain after using Breach Bombs to hurt the crew. Went entirely through sector five doing that with only two crew while desperately searching for more.

In sector six it began to turn around. Wthin four jumps I had six crew including a Mantis and a Rock and enough missiles from saving them by only using lasers to annihilate anyone with Breach Bombs. Finally bought Drone Control and was given a Defense Drone 2 near the end of sector six.

After that it was cake, but of all the times I've played this game and thought I was gonna win and did not. My brother, who was watching the entire game, said I needed to restart after I lost the Mantis. Luckily, perseverance paid off and I stole one like I feel the game does to me so often.

This game is so unpredictable, you just can't stop playing..

I ran a match like 3 hours ago with the Osprey A. Got to the boss with a BL2 and a Small Bomb, fully upgraded Artillery plus a drone with Hull Repair and Defense Mk II. Surprisingly, 1st and 2nd were easy as hell, I think i've lost something like 20% hull in both battles. Got my ass handed to me on the 3rd though, since I had neither Teleport nor Cloak (the stores simply REFUSED to sell Cloak! They were only selling drones; and rarely a weapon or two). If I just had a lvl 1 cloak I'd have won. Really couldn't survive the power surgers

It is not possible to get cloak for Osprey, the artillery beam replaces that.

It is not possible to get cloak for Osprey, the artillery beam replaces that.

Had forgotten that, thx. Beat with the Osprey yesterday, 2nd best highscore. ^^
