I distinctly remember a planet where the atmosphere was 90-something percent oxygenated, which apparently made people that breathed its atmosphere feel better and more energetic and stuff. But the downside is the insects there are fucking massive, and lightning storms are deadly because of the fires.

And I have no idea why they aren't water cooled or some such.

Because water has a bad habit of breaking electronics. Something like cooking oil (it has better thermal conductivity and less electrical conductivity) is far better.

This was done on some computer review/benchmark/overclocking site... oh yeah Tom's Hardware. It works. They did however note that it's probably smarter to use motor oil... cooking oil goes rancid!
