I also registered simply to post that I would love to see an android port for FTL, I would also pay more for the game just so im not tied to my computer. FTL is the exact kind of game that I would love to be able to play periodically while I am waiting at work. With multi-touch to zoom and some small touchscreen buttons possibly with the option to remap to hardkeys I believe ftl would be the ideal game for touchscreen gaming. Please take this into consideration, I truly believe it has the potential to be even more amazing on android/tablet than it already is.

On a side note. Ever since I began playing FTL I have dreamed of being able to design the layout for my own ship, consider being able to design or re-model you're ship at designated quadrants possibly requiring someone who is proficient in engineering. Just an idea, but I would love to be able to customize more period. This is a truly special rougelike game, with immense potential for growth especially considering the growing interest.

Finally, Thank you. FTL is an ingenious game, a game that I have been waiting for for some time now. So, thank you.

TJJ:
"In fact a game speed slider (controlled by mouse wheel) would probably work better for the PC too!"

^This... This comment is a great idea.

Make the spacebar still pause the game, but be able to change the game speed from 100%-75%-50%-25%-0% if you decide to use the mousewheel or Page Up/Page Down (or some other key selection).

Hi there I also registered to say I would buy the android port. I like the look of the game but due to family life I get little to no time in front of the pc when im at home. So Playing on my phone while on long night shifts/commuting is my gaming time.

I also would ask you don't restrict it to just tablet only it would be a pain to have to hack it, my HTC one x for example is just as good as say the nexus 7, sure it has a smaller screen but its big enough to play as long as your not totally ham fisted. Its got the same Tegra 3 and tbh I've got games on my one x that out perform the same verion on the nexus 7 (though I suspect thats rom/kernel related).

I can do this, fairly quickly as well. My only stipulations are; Either the developers allow/endorse a free version that I may place minor non-invasive ads in, or the game is sold for a price chosen by the developer, of which a small percentage goes to me. Please contact me if you're interested.

Please make Android port for tablets and smartphones, this game will be great on my Galaxy Note II. I will buy it even for 20 bucks!

Just bought Kainy, tried Splashtop but quickly gave up after realizing how hard it is to get to the virtual spacebar. If the game had a clickable pause button I think it'd be quite playable. Perhaps there's already some little app that can run "always on top" to emulate key presses, I haven't looked into it. Anyhow I'm in full support of an Android port, I'd gladly buy another copy for my tablet/phone.

I also would pay a significant amount of money to see this on Android (And I guess even the simple minded people's iOS)
