Apparently GOG also allows you to download older installers, but only for windows, and only using their galaxy downloader thingy. Linux version, nope.

I want to tell you that I'm working (still) on socializing events rework for CE. I did currently about 75% of the work (1 event for engi and whole AI, Lanius and Crystal left).

Is there anyone interested in such an "expansion". It's been years since last update for CE and some other mods and overhauls came out probably during that time.

Can someone share his latest working modlist? Is there any progress in modding community or it is dead?
Can you share links?
How about reverted version of the game? Anyone experienced crashes?

I just installed FTL fresh and downloaded CE fresh. However, when the loading screen is loading for CE after I've installed it with Slipstreams (no other mods), the loading bars do not load inside of the little station icon. Is this normal? I recall that this is something that turned up with the new variant of FTL - is it something minor that was just never fixed?

That's because Captain's Edition hasn't been updated for a while (and sadly seems it won't ever be),the same happen with other mods like Arsenal+ at the moment.

Made a fix - either load it after CE's Resource Pack, or replace the latter content's with its.

Nope, it's not possible to increase the augment slot count. CE has massive clutter issues because of its large concentration of augments/weapons/drones, many of which are useless (among many many many many other massive issues), and nothing is done to compensate.

A puzzle, though; when playing the federation cruiser layout B (and, for all I know, the other ships as well), I don't get the option to socialize with my slug crewmember. (I also got a lanius later in the run, and there was no option to socialize with them, either - only the human and zoltan threads seemed to work). Any ideas what might cause this? Thanks so much!

There should be a "Look around for more crew" options. Slugs and Lanius are located there.
