Should I make this ship?
A loon time ago I made a doodle of a ship for a forum Roleplay. When I saw FTL I first though it might be cool to add it. Alas, I invisioned it as something bigger with more rooms than FTL supports ..that and it could use more details.
So I'd have to re-do it

It looks a lot like the concept art, so I think you could make it work.
Kinda reminds me of the fed light, sizewise. So that should work, too.
