You all probably know this, its that nice wide zone. Its almost impossible to tell which way is usable. And if you play like me, clearing nodes right before rebel invasion...



I took 4 middle nodes, and when rebel invasion closed to me, i went top and there... nothing. Bottom one was the one and only. The picture shows me after 4 battles with rebel ships, with no upgrades and almost no scrap from sector one at all. In sector 2, there was shop right next to start, so i sold my laser and speed augment to perform some repairs... But still, finished boss in the end and won this one too

Are you asking is there a way you can tell wherer or not there is a path between beacons? If so, then yes, there is an option that will display beacon paths when you hover your mouse over it. It will help you avoid having to fight through the rebels.

Nice that you won in the end though.
