So close yet so far.

I didn't come close to beating the game, but I did come very close to unlocking a new ship. I was in the Engi homeworlds and had triggered the Stealth Cruiser event. I nearly finished the quest (got to the 'boss' at the end) but then he boarded me, disabled my weapons and oxygen, and killed my dudes. 
Oh well. Losing is fun! Time to try again!
