Subset Games Forum

I know this seems like a stupid question but I know it happens on steam. Does the game run on a laptop or is it desktop only? I'd like to know in case I need to slack off anywhere I currently am. I know that Magicka can't play on laptops so I'm just wondering if this game has the same or might have the same issue. Maybe someone with the beta could tell me more.

Depends on the laptop, doesn't it? Gaming laptops can play quite a lot of games... can't they?
I'm playing FTL on a laptop and I'm pretty sure I've played Magicka on it as well.

I'm playing it on a laptop, too.

I can run it fine on a fairly recent Dell Inspiron (i3, 4gb ram, integrated graphics).

I have to turn off animated backgrounds though, otherwise it gets proper choppy.

The big importance is that the Laptop screen has a resolution of at least 1280x720. If the laptop was purchased in the last few years I think FTL should run OK; but if your resolution is lower than 1280x720 there's not much we can do.
