Why did they nerf the stealth ship so hard?

Instead of the hardened shell ability it now has titanium systems which now makes it so that the ship hull will take damage and the system will still be ok? Why? And they made it so that invisibility now only gives you 60% chance to dodge instead of making it a sure dodge.
The stealth ship is incredibly weak now. 15% chance for the systems to be ok after a shot but the hull will still always take damage? This ship is awful now. For an ability that is of such little benefit to also have such a low chance of happening, I think officially makes for what is now the most awful augmentation in the entire game.
"I may have taken 3 damage from a missile but at least my freaking door systems survived, I don't know what I would do without those"

saving weapons, pilot seat, engines, cloak and shield from needing extra repair can be lifesaving. Why did you choose the door system in your example??

Odd, that augment is by far my favorite in the game. I thought we were giving that ship a buff, lol.
Unlike the hardened shell which basically just lets the ship stay together longer, this one can prevent the chain reactions that actually cause you to die immediately (rather than long term). I.E. one random rock gets through your shields and hits your shield room: Instead of frantically needing to repair the damage while under fire with the old augment, now your shields run perfectly fine and despite taking that extra 1 damage you probably have a higher HP than if your shields went down.
Plus it helps with beams which are so devastating early on.

A lot of people seem to feel that shields are the biggest upgrade you can possibly get to the stealth ship. I agree that before you get shields the new augmentation seems less powerful (Because early game the chance of being killed by the 'chain reactions' Justin mentioned is much lower due to the low firepower of enemies at this stage of the game, and the extra repair costs from taking more hits lowers your initial scrap banking rate), but further into the game once you have shields is when this new augment really shines because of the reasons Justin mentioned about chain reactions no longer crippling your ship.
So all in all this change nerfs early game and buffs mid/late game. Which imo is awesome.
