Simply put, I destroyed the 2nd stage flag ship only to be torn apart from 25% hull to nothing by the drones around my ship. Nothing at all I could do. To add insult to injury, there was a repair node one jump away, had I lived.

Same exact thing happened to me during one of my runs. I was lucky and managed to warp out of there. It seems to be linked to the fact that I killed the boss right when the drones from the ultimate spawned.

This will be fixed. Sorry about that.

i also noticed in the second stage if you disable the drone node on the boss ship the drones stay active is this supposed to happen?

As I just finished up a run where I did destroy the drone control room (I usually don't bother) I can say that the drones controlled by the drone control room went offline for me.

I am assuming that you are talking about the special that spawns like 7 drones or something at once? That is working as intended, the specials are not canceled if you destroy the drone control room or the laser weapon (in phase 3)

you know what not that i think about it the drones did go off but like you said the 7 special power ones didn't. thanks for clearing that up for me.
