[Suggestion] Easy/Normal/Hard

I've reached a point on Easy where I win every game, and on Normal I can barely get passed the third sector. It seems like the difference between the two levels is massive, to the point where I often feel like I'm not really learning anything by playing Normal.

I'd suggest the current Normal be graduated to Hard and an in-between level (the new 'Normal') that's basically half-way between Easy and 'Current Normal'. It might make it easier to deal with the significant drop in scrap rewards and increase in enemy difficulty if there was a step between the two.

Personally I don't find Normal that difficult, I've beaten it with all 6 ships multiple times. How come you can't get past the 3rd sector? with what ships etc? I tend to breeze through those even if I haven't picked up any new equipment, by then a second level of ships is highly important, or better engines/cloak if you're using the stealth ship.

Regardless I'd be interested in a Hard mode that was more difficult than Normal, I want that against all odds victory. :D

Damn you all. I cant beat the boss on Easy and I can get to him pretty consistently now. I seem to get screwed over with the droid rush.

Easy should be easier.. normal about same and then a Hard option for you clever lot.

Use stealth at the droid rush instead of at the missile barrage. Kill the operator at the missile weapon system in the first encounter then use a missile or bomb to disable it in the second.
