FTL for Steam for Linux

So, the Steam for Linux beta just started, and I'm one of the lucky few to get in. :D
I was a tad disappointed to see the Linux version of FTL isn't available via Steam yet (many other cross platform titles already are). Any idea when that might happen?

I was travelling when the Steam beta started for developers so I was unable to try it out myself yet. It's on the list of things to do but I don't have an ETA currently, sorry about that. Hopefully within a couple weeks.

It's now available on the beta \o/

But I have trouble to launch it. I get a message saying the executable is missing.
I have deleted local content, 3 times. I have verified game cache integrity too.
I'm wondering if it's a general problem or if it's only for me.

Sorry, there's an issue with the Steam distribution of FTL that I'm working with Steam to resolve. Hopefully it won't be long now.

If you bought it from the Indie Humble Bundle you can literally just dump the contents of the FTL/data/ folder in the Linux archive you can download into:
~/Steam/SteamApps/common/FTL\ Faster\ Than\ Light/

edit ~/Steam/SteamApps/common/FTL\ Faster\ Than\ Light/FTL and make the second line:
cd ~/Steam/SteamApps/common/FTL\ Faster\ Than\ Light/

You can then launch it from Steam.
