What happens if crew member were not teleported back?

Well, I'm a coward and have never tried this:

What is going to happen if I jump away straightly without teleporting my crew members back from the enemy ship? Do I lost these members?

And wt happens if I have exploded the enemy ship if my boarding team is still there?

If the enemy ship is destroyed while your team is still on it, then it's very simple - they die. Your question about jumping, however... that's a good one. Might look into it.

Also, another question for future posters: what happens with the Rebel Flagship when it jumps away with your crew members on board? Are they carried forward with it, or do they just mysteriously disappear?

I saw on a youtube playthrough after killing all the enemy crew with a squad of 4 experienced mantis, the player jumped to another location. He lost his squad.

Also when I played against the flagship I had a rockman and mantis on the flagship as it jumped. When it came back they were gone, so they were most probably overrun before I caught back up to the flagship.

If you've won a normal fight with your crew aboard the enemy ship (through surrender or killing their crew,) you get a popup message if you try to jump away, confirming if you want to leave the crew behind. (If you don't see this message, patch your game!) This gives you the opportunity to cancel the jump, and get them back. Out of habit, I always pause and teleport my crew out immediately after a victory, just to make sure any fires that remain ablaze won't blow up the ship.

As for the boss fight, I confirm what Rivers stated. If it jumps with your crew aboard, they're dead - even if the only crewman the boss has left is the one guy in the laser room!

If you're going to board and kill off all the crew except for that one, I suggest taking out the other weapons as normal, then lock down its drones and laser with ions, if you have them available. Otherwise, disable your damage output while they work; then enable it once the rest are dead, and your crew is safe. Assuming you have three shields, that laser is no threat on its own.

1. Enemy ship jumps away with your boarders on = they dissappear, prolly getting killed/enslaved 'offscreen'.

2. Enemy ship explodes with your boarders on = they die.

3. You jump away with your boarders on enemy ship = look at 1.

Simple as that.

Things that make me mad about these:

If they have one crew left and jump away <.< my dude should be able to kill that guy and jump the ship back no probelm :P.

If i kill all of the crew aboard the final ship (except for those guys stack at the weapons bays. My dude should still be on deck :P. I've ruined many a games by doing this to myself lmao.

Edit:

and if i'm starting a fight on your bride you shouldn't beable to jump x.x lmao :P

To be fair, you can also jump out while you have boarders on your ship, as long as your FTL is functioning, charged, and someone's at the helm. It's just typically more perilous for you to jump that way (unless you're jumping to a safe location.)

If you jump without your crew, they're gone. Just like if you neglected to beam crew back in real-life.

Same thing if the opponent beams away when you had an away team on it. I've had this happen a few times.

Here's an interesting one that happened to me the other day.

I teleported all my crew to the enemy ship, and while they were on board the enemy fired and took out my teleporter so I couldn't teleport back. I killed all their crew, and after winning my guys were instantly beamed back home, even though teleporter was still broken.
