Unlocked the Zoltan cruiser and decided to try out a mod that stops the advancement of the rebel fleet (irrelevant). I'm just after sector six and I just upgraded my engines and cloaking to maximum. My doors and sensors are at maximum, and I have my helm upgraded twice. I have a Halberd Beam, Burst Laser II, Ion Blast I, and Leto missile launcher. I have three layers of shields, plus the five added by the Zoltan Shield augment. All of my crew are veteran, save for the shields because they never go down. There's a lot of other details. Am I ready to take on the beast?

I'll probably be able to pick up a teleporter. I just jumped into sector seven.

Ion the shields, use missles on his ion cannons then missles, use your pulse to drop his shields then halberd his systems as soon as you can.

I disagree. Being able to check out all of the events in the seven playable sectors before the last stand means that you should be fairly superpowered at this point.

You look ready enough to me, although your weapon systems aren't what I'd consider optimal, but you should be able to do it fairly easily. Good luck!

My augment proved useful, and I barely took any damage. He only hit me with the power surges. I picked up a teleporter, and my two Mantis proved useful. I took him down.
