Voice Control

So in the next update what are the chances of getting voice control in the game? It would certainly feel more like being a real ship captain. And it'll be useful for the mobile versions(especially whenever the android version comes out, why must it take so long?)

Only thing you probably wouldn't be able to do with it is precise beam targeting.

Although I'm sure this has been discussed before and I simply missed it.

By whose metric?

The only major development you might see from this point on is a port to Android, but I can say with absolute confidence that adding in major features (particularly something as complex as voice recognition) is well beyond the scope of anything they have planned. AE was "(almost) everything we couldn't fit in the original release," but Subset is a two-man team, and at this point I'd expect they're both more than a little weary of working on anything FTL-related. This isn't going to be like Minecraft, with periodic updates and additional content - if that's what you're looking for, check the Mods forum. There's always new ships and weapons, and the bigger content mods like Captain's Edition update frequently to add new things or patch / balance the old.

Not by Subset.
I doubt Subset cares about the license though, so anyone with enough skill and the balls could make a sequel.
