I made a card game version of FTL and my friend playtested it!

The main design issue I see from a quick glance over is the heavy reliance on the D6. This is specifically a concern because it means your best result is 6 times better than your worst result, which is incredibly high variance. I realize the idea is to largely use what people have lying around, but consider a weighted die, e.g. 2/3/3/4/4/5 to smooth out the variance somewhat.
