Update info a the next post
I am developing a SaveGameManager for FTL.
It is able to save and load the current "jump" (continue.sav) and it can also backup and restore the profile file.
And it can update it self.
It´s selecting the default path of the location from FTL "C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\My Games\fasterthanlight" and you most just select the folder where you want to save it.
It will add a folder called "\Savegame" to your selected path, there the continue.sav file are saved.
You can also backup your profile. you just need to activate it in the settings and choice with version you have. The normal or the advance edition. The profiles are saved in an Profile folder.
And the program has an updater so it can update itself, so you do not go online and check self.
This should be helpful if you want to sync your Profile and Savegame on other computer with Dropbox or other services.

It is just for Windows.
The programm is open source it is on Github.
Are some interested in it?
Hope to get feedback
