Difficulty: 1980's

After more than six weeks of abstinence from FTL, I laid hands on another productivity dampener yesterday, Paper Sorceror, a light-weight minimalistic role-playing game with a strong emphasis on combat, similar to FTL and even more so to Wizardry. After playing for five minutes, I came to the conclusion it's actually a shameless Wizardry IV: The Return of Werdna rip-off, just much easier. You can even save. It's still cute, though.
One feature I really liked was just at the start. You can choose the following difficulties: Easy, Normal, Hard and 1980's.
I want a 1980's difficulty setting for FTL as well, then maybe it's some sort of challenge again. All damage from enemies is doubled, and there's a fourth flagship incarnation, with only the Laser weapon bay remaining, with 10 system points. It doesn't fire laser triplets, but it acts like a Chain Vulcan, which is only disturbed when it's completely broken. Something like that.
But no hurry. I guess going to play through all Wizardries again will take some time
