FTL with Multiplayer?

I was wondering, will there ever be an update where you can actually do multiplayer, as I would really love that if you could do it, also sorry for posting in a wrong place, but I was just thinking that Multiplayer would be totally awesome
and loads of fun

I think that's a big "NO" from the developers...
I mean, we would've gotten it by now if it wasn't.

The Devs are not implementing multiplayer, but there is a WIP mod called FTL Multispace that plans exactly that. You can find it here:

yes, it might revive the community, but the devs are not going to implement it. any multiplayer will come from modders
