Merging game profiles

So, I've managed to unlock different ships between my work computer and my home computer, is there any way to merge things so that I have all of them unlocked?
(Isn't this supposed to be what steam is good for?)

I may be able to help with that ... from what I know, it's not possible in the game itself (and when I say that I mean to say if it is, it's deep in magicland somewhere).
Windows and Linux versions attached.
Syntax: ftlprofmerge.exe <in1> <int2> <out>
Problems with it: it'll just merge high scores, so expect it to duplicate them. I could check for exact matches, but I was feeling lazy...
