I love hacking, I just had to say it. But I found that sometime I just can't launch my hacking droid.
I have full power in it and noting stopping me from launching it, when I hover over the button there is
nothing saying why I can't (Like when they have a zolton shield).

Also it doesn't work on the boss. Anyone know why?

I'd have to see pics or a video. I've never had a problem with it, including on the boss.

You don't have any drones. Hacking takes one drone per encounter. Once the drone sticks to the enemy ship you can hack all you want for free, but you spend one drone per time you launch it. You have no drones, therefore you can't hack.

You lack a drone.
